My Writing Journey
Many years ago, I became interested in writing Christian fiction. I studied novel writing, joined a critique group, and also joined American Christian Fiction Writers, of which I am still a member.
In 2007, Barbour Publishing Company accepted three books, which eventually became the Tumbleweed Weddings series. They were published in the Heartsong Presents Book Club. Then Barbour closed that particular imprint.
At that time, Amazon made self-publishing a book feasible. I jumped in and self-published five books. But then, our church's Daycare needed a Director, so I started working full time. Publishing a book was put on the back burner for eight years. Now our Daycare has closed, and I am again writing Christian fiction books. I'm also involved in our church's music ministry, playing the piano for the church services and choir. My husband, Richard, and I have four adult children and fifteen grandchildren.
